RAC

We initially worked in partnership with the RAC to re-develop their vehicle data gathering application, which allows the capture and store technical information from all makes and models of vehicles, to a central database.  The system is designed to be flexible and allow engineers to create bespoke data capture screens, which are then used to collect specific vehicle data. This information is then accessed by Roadside mechanics or call center staff, via the ‘Roadside browser’.

Our relationship has developed over the past 4 years, creating ongoing enhancements to both systems, and more recently we have been commissioned to develop the ‘Next Generation Roadside Browser, a complete redevelopment of the existing system and a significant part of RAC roadside recovery strategy. Our Content Management solution will be integrated in this development to provide full management of data gathered both by RAC technicians and Patrols at the roadside.

As well as application development, we have also developed e-learning programmes for the Training Department and are discussing the potential to integrate our Learning Management System into the Roadside Browser technology to provide learning direct to the Roadside Patrols.
