G4S Security Services (UK) Ltd (http://www.g4s.com) , part of Group 4 Securicor, has been appointed by AEG to provide stewarding and security services for The O2 in Greenwich, London. The two year contract, which takes effect from the middle of June 2007, includes all events to be hosted at The O2 (www.theo2.co.uk).

To help with recruitment for the contract, Digits were asked to develop an e-Learning programme for new stewards. The e-Learning allows candidates to train for and be assessed before commencing on the associated City & Guilds NVQ Level 2 in Spectator Safety.

The timescales were extremely tight with the entire production schedule fitting into a four week window. However, owing to a great deal of hard work and great communication with the client, the delivery was successfully achieved.

The e-learning has been launched via our hosted Learning Management Solution (LMS), allowing potential candidates to register and complete the pre -course training.
