The system allows new candidates to register their details and perform training and basic assessment, prior to attending the interview process.

“A total of over 2,000 candidates have now registered on the system with more than 60% of candidates passing both parts of the course in the first attempt.”

Another positive outcome from the project is the re-use of the online material in a classroom within other courses. Owing to the modular nature of the course design, it’s easy to re-use generic modules such as ‘fire safety’ across a number of different courses, or, as a ‘refresher’ module in isolation.”
