MOD 'Supportive Employer' award

7th July 2015

We are pleased announce that Digits has been published on the MOD Bronze Award list of supportive employers for 2015!

We have been recognised for our support & commitment to the MOD, taking a positive stance towards our employees who are members of the Armed Forces Community.

Our 1st Line Support Technician, Corporal Will Dawe has served with the Army Reserves for ten years- completing a six month tour of duty in Afghanistan with 135 Geographic Squadron Royal Engineers in 2012. Will continues to serve with 135 Geographic Squadron Royal Engineers, who are based in Reading and Ewell.

As a supportive employer, Digits has been involved in many Armed Forces events including Armed Forces Day. In 2014, both Will and our General Manager, Roel Van Der Zanden, were invited to speak to business leaders about employing Reservists at Horse Guards in London by Major-General Edward Smyth-Osbourne, GOC for London District.

We have also featured in an MOD publication 'A Guide to Employing Reservists' which has been circulated around hundreds of companies in the UK.
